Welcome to Mathdle. By using this site (mathdle.org) you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short; the long version would say the same things.

1. What Mathdle is

Mathdle is a free, browser-based daily math puzzle. You don't need an account. Your progress is stored in your own browser. The puzzle of the day is the same for every player; new puzzles publish daily at midnight UTC.

2. Acceptable use

• Play, share your results, talk about strategy. That's the whole point.
• Don't attempt to disrupt the site (denial of service, bulk scraping that degrades availability, exploiting vulnerabilities).
• Don't republish the puzzle catalogue verbatim as your own product. Linking, quoting, and discussing individual puzzles is fine.
• Don't use Mathdle in a way that violates applicable laws.

3. Content and intellectual property

Mathdle's name, branding, puzzle engine, and generated puzzle content are owned by the operator. You retain ownership of anything you create yourself (e.g., screenshots of your own results); sharing those is encouraged.

4. Privacy

See the Privacy page for what data the site does and doesn't handle. In short: your progress lives in your own browser; analytics, when enabled, are cookieless and aggregate.

5. No warranty

Mathdle is provided "as is." The site may have bugs, may be unavailable, and may change or shut down at any time. To the extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any losses arising from use of the site.

6. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
